Traditional Celebrations and Festivals of Persia
Joyful Celebrations and Festivals For Every Season.
The ancient Persians and people around the world today celebrate the inherent gifts of seasonal Equinox defined by the Solar Calendar date and time. The Nowruz celebration of the Persian New Year is timed for the specific date of the vernal Equinox, the Persian New Year. Nowruz is especially welcomed and grand incorporating foods, flowers and many other symbols of renewal elegantly displayed on the Haft-Sin table. Consistent with Persian values and culture, the celebration of Yalda, Nowruz, Sadeh and many others are a time for bringing together beloved family and friends.
